Ellen Mather (she/her) is a
designer, researcher and educator.
She currently partners with organisations, researchers, and brands to help create positive social impact. Previous design experience has been within the non-profit, knowledge, commercial and cultural sectors.
Her design approach spans numerous disciplines: art direction, book design, brand strategy, curation, data visualisation, editorial design, exhibition design, identity systems, wayfinding and workshops.
Her research practice utilises contemporary forms of visual communication and cultural practices to question the role of brands in society. She is also a visiting lecturer at London College of Communication and the MIMA School of Art & Design.
